My little six year-old has taken to jump-roping. She loves it and takes a special class each week to learn really "cool" tricks.
The day these pictures (above) were taken, I think she had been at church and YES, she did wear that green shirt under her navy dress. I tend to think I am safe with my kids' outfit choices but they seem to appear in some kind of variation of what I've agreed to - especially this girl.
Anyway, one day after jump-roping class, she was happily telling me about her day and her fun class. For that day, she wore a green corduroy skirt with tights. As she tells me her story, she gets this huge grin on her face and says, "I am not wearing a skirt to jump-roping class again. My skirt fell right to the ground and the teacher would have seen my underwear if I hadn't had tights on." Another grin.
I've had a few wardrobe malfunctions in my day, but that is for another post. My daughter can chalk this one up simply as a "journal-entry" for sure.
