Jogging

I saw this on a good friend's facebook page today and have laughed over and over about it.

Running is the best way I know how to feel good about myself. Even in high school, I seemed to depend on track season to "toughen" me up, mentally and physically. In college, I figured if I could run up the hill near the college (and later the university), I could definitely pass the class or figure out my roommates :-).  Now, as a grown-up (eek - really?), it seems like running is some kind of salvation. I tend to "pound out" my worries and frustrations and sweat like crazy, so I must, I MUST look totally muscular and tan and fit.

Anyway, this cracks me up because obviously, we've all seen, um, certain runners go by and said to ourselves, "please tell me I don't look like that when I am jogging".

  3. I thought about this picture again today as I was running! I sure hope you don't run in your mustard-colord jacket. (Isn't that thing retired by now?)
